sandy dunes from the plane |
Well, what can I say? I've been dreaming of going to Egypt ever since I heard the stories of the pharaohs and pyramids the 1st time. I know that this sounds like a cliche, but I don't know any other way of putting it. Finally, I got my chance in January 2005.
When I come to think of it, there were some problems at 1st (our plane took us to Sharm El-Sheikh and not to Hurghada as we expected), but it all ended just fine (spent a lovely afternoon in the centre of Sharm and were later on taken to Hurghada by a ferry, across the Red Sea).
What followed is a 10-amazing-day holiday in and around Egypt.
