Famous Square

Groenplaats
This is yet another famous square in Antwerp, dominated by Our Lady's Cathedral.

Around the square, there are numerous restaurants and cafés, packed with people who enjoy a good beer.

In the middle of the square, there's the statue of famous artist, Rubens. It was made in 1840 by Geefs. If you take a closer look, you'll be able to read the words:'Behold the city and you will know where I found my inspiration'.

Directions: close to the Grote Markt
