This 9m-high square tower was built in 1494 on a rock on Starja Hill, near the Blacksmiths' bastion. In 1599 the tower was destroyed by lightning, so that’s how it got its name.Its glass top has recently been added.
It now houses a museum,with a small display of war related artifacts.
